Yeah, things have been a bit nuts around here lately.
I moved, then the Expo came around, then I went home and went jobhunting and got a contract job and hopes of a good job somewhere else later in the fall... so yeah. Crazybeans.

I wrote a nice long tribute to all the CGers who attended the CN Expo this year, I may as well post it here.

Sin... What can I say but that you were awesome, bullet trains and swordfights and all. And yes, it was good to see you again without being completely zombified like I was at the cookout. New outfit for teh win!

Claude... you are hilarity incarnate. So much entertainment packed into a single energetic English package. You made me dig out my Mitch Hedburg mp3s again. And dammit, if you own all of Canada you should visit more often!

Fading Aura.. Fun seeing you again, you Animal Crossing addict. You're always fun to talk to (and to watch baseball games with!). There will always be room in my home if you need to be a fugitive.

Vorticus.. Hot damn but you've improved, dancing-wise! O great and wise king of back massages and funky hats and infectious laughs, I shall miss you.

Maria and Michelle ... I was almost surprised not to see you as little floating chibis, but dammit you were just as adorable! We had better see you again.

Cortland... king of macs and tallness. All the people questioning us about the tshirts was totally awesome, thanks for being our distributor! Oh yeah, and I bought a gun too!

Tim... dammit! I missed glomping you again,didn't I? Don't hide on the sidewalk next time - I didn't want to bash anyone's skull on the concrete. D:  But yeah. You were quiet but still great, I loved the Sym you wore on Saturday, thanks for the dance and I'll see you at the next cookout.

Ti-Phil... don't worry, someday you might be able to draw something not-cute. Too bad about the hurt arm (good thing it wasn't your drawing hand), and I'd love to see you again.

Keffria... No, I don't have the pimp hat. YET. So yours still beats mine. But SOMEDAY I shall win. Anyway, 'twas good seeing the fake londoner again!

Goblin... didn't get to talk to you much (though I got to glomp you!), but you are so cute! And such a trooper, dragging those big bags around all night when we picked you up.

Ghastly... awesome seeing you again - hooray for being remembered. :shucks: Sorry we didn't get to make the show, it was rainy and dancing ended up taking so long we didn't think we'd be able to make it on time. WE LOVE YOU.

VileTerror... good to finally meet the creature described to me at last year's Anime North. Thanks for the mold, I suppose. Frank says hi.

Sam.. you ninja you! I only got to meet you for all of like a minute and that was far too short. Next time, gadget!

Kisai... talking till 5:30 in the morning rules.. watching other people drift in and out of sleep is so entertaining. Hooray for the catlady with the video camera, we were all so excited to meet you and we were not let down. We love you, come and see us again.

CJ... my unbrother's older sister! You haven't gone home yet, so I can't say I miss you yet... but dammit I do! Between secret l-words and foul balls, I had a blast and I can't wait to see you again in a few days. Someday I shall come up to Alaska! SOMEDAY! XD

K-Dawg! Unbrother, comic buddy, random kidnapper. Next year we'll arrange it so you won't have to drive so much, you're a real trooper and you rawk more than we were ever able to thank you for. Aaand last night me and Courtney decided to dig up some really awful horror movies and watch them whilst drinking. Fun idea - and the first two were HORRIBLE, it's awesome.
Poor Stephen King, his horror books so rarely make good movies (with the exception of The Shining, because Stanley Kubrick was a god). IT was so awful though... but I don't blame it for being so bad. The monster in IT plays on personal fears, and movies can't do that very well. Books leave more to the imagination.

Well, I spent most of the time documenting our night (in comic form!), so here you go.





Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go help finish paint the kitchen.
